Shipping Information

Same Day Shipping
Albany Distributing will make every attempt to ship orders received by 3:00 PM EST on the same business day the order is received. Any order not shipped on the order date or orders placed after the 3:00 PM EST cut-off time, will ship the next business day. Please note, shipping charges are non-refundable due to delayed shipping.

Free Shipping
Albany Distributing offers free shipping on most orders over $500 USD shipping within the Contiguous 48 U.S. states with the exception of oversized product(s) that ship via freight truck line. Should a shipping charge apply to your order, a representative will follow up with you to relate those costs.

No Drop Ship Fee or Handling Fee
Albany Distributing does not charge drop ship or handling fees except when Special Handling (see below) of an order is requested by the customer.

Special Handling
If a customer requests special handling including but not limited to special packaging, labeling, or bar-coding, the request must be submitted via e-mail to esales@albanydistributing.com for approval prior to placing an order. Customers requesting special handling of orders are subject to handling fees, which are determined based on customers’ needs.

Tracking Numbers
Tracking numbers are provided within 24 business hours from the time of shipment. Tracking information can be obtained from the Order Detail page, which can be accessed through the My Orders page via the customer dashboard, or shipment confirmation emails.

Over Ship or Short Shipment
If a customer or shipping addressee claims non-receipt of an item(s) on the packing slip, the customer must notify Albany Distributing at esales@albanydistributing.com within 3 days after the stated delivery date. Once Albany Distributing has completed an inventory audit count and verified a short shipment has occured, shorted products will be shipped at Albany Distributing’s expense. If an order has been overshipped, Albany Distributing will provide customers with a pre-paid return shipping label.

Lost Shipments
If a customer or shipping addressee claims non-receipt of an order even though the carrier’s tracking indicates the package(s) has/have been delivered, the customer must notify Albany Distributing at esales@albanydistributing.com within 5 days after the stated delivery date. Albany Distributing will initiate a trace and/or claim with the carrier, which can take 30 to 60 days for the carrier to complete.

Shipping Charges are Non-Refundable
Shipping charges are non-refundable for unclaimed or undeliverable shipments across international borders. Please see Albany Distributing’s International Duties, Taxes, and Brokerage Fees policies section below for more details.

If a shipment is undeliverable within the United States and returned by the carrier to Albany Distributing, a refund will be issued to the customer less original shipping charges and a 20% restocking fee. However, If a shipment is undeliverable due to an Albany Distributing addressing error, a full refund will be issued to the customer including shipping charges.

If a shipment is refused without the right-to-refuse from Albany Distributing, a full refund will be issued less original shipping charges and a 20% restocking fee. In cases where the right-to-refuse has been granted, a full refund will be issued including original shipping charges.

Shipping Address Corrections
If a request is made to change the address of an order after it has already shipped, Albany Distributing will forward the request to the shipping carrier. All fees imposed by the shipping carrier for address corrections and/or changes are the sole responsibility of the customer. Please note, requests for address corrections are not guaranteed.

International Duties, Taxes, and Brokerage Fees
All orders shipped outside the United States are subject to the assessment of duties and taxes imposed by the destination country’s government and possible broker fees imposed by the shipping carrier. Orders are shipped with a Commercial Invoice used to calculate fees of which the shipping addressee is responsible for payment. If the shipping addressee refuses to pay such fees, the shipping carrier reserves the right to return, dispose of, or auction the product(s).

If the shipping carrier returns the shipment, the customer will be responsible for any and all fees the carrier imposes to Albany Distributing. If the shipment is disposed or auctioned, the customer is still responsible for payment of goods to Albany Distributing.

Please note, Albany Distributing cannot quote duties and taxes prior to shipping an order. For assistance in calculating these fees, please refer to the UPS TradeAbility International Tools.

Products Shipped/Used Internationally
Manufacturer warranties are only valid in the country where originally purchased. If products are shipped outside the United States the customer assumes all responsibility and cannot hold Albany Distributing liable for warranties that cannot be honored by the manufacturer.

3rd Party Freight Billing
Albany Distributing, at its discretion, may choose to allow high-volume customers to have shipping charges billed to their UPS and/or FedEx shipping accounts.
